Fire Firefighters Need a Place to Train

Orange Rural Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the citizens of the Central Orange Fire District and the Town of Hillsborough. Candidates interested in to becoming firefighters have to meet national training standards. Lannie Drive Structure Fire 21 March

At 14:52 hours this afternoon, B-Shift was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Lannie Drive. Engine 231 arrived on scene just over three minutes after dispatch to find a double wide mobile home with a significant amount of smoke and flames visible around the front porch and living room. Ode Turn Road Woods Fire 7 March

At 14:13 hours this afternoon, A-Shift was dispatched to a reported woods fire. Our first on scene unit arrived within 7 minutes of dispatch and estimated about three acres burning in a wooded area around a home on Ode Turner Road.
