Faucette Mill Road Structure Fire 9 January

At 0102 hours this morning, B-Shift was dispatched to a structure fire north of Hillsborough. Initial dispatch was for a two story residential structure with smoke and flames visible and multiple people trapped. Orange County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on scene and reported a two story residence fully involved in fire. Deputies removed the victims they could get to and rendered aid until Orange County ... Station 4 Opening Planned for Early March

Our fourth fire station is set to open in early March though a date has not been confirmed yet. The building, which is located at 350 College Park Road in Hillsborough is being built as a joint venture between the Orange Rural Fire Department, Town of Hillsborough and Orange County. Once completed, the facility will house a fire engine and crew as well as an Advanced Life Support ambulance and crew. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Prepare for Exteme Cold Weather

Forecasts are showing temperatures down into the teens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with highs just above freezing. These temperature ranges spread out over multiple days will cause water lines to freeze that may not normally freeze in cold weather.
