Hog Day This Saturday

The Annual Hog Day Barbecue festival is this weekend in downtown Hillsborough. The event starts with a concert from 6-10 on Friday night. The concert and barbecue cooking is in the area between East Margarette Lane and the Eno River. The fun continues starting at 10 am Saturday with all-day concerts, food and craft vendors, and some of the best pork barbecue you can find.

Department Responds to Multiple Water Rescues

TS Chantal brought heavy rains and winds to the district on the evening of July 6th. Many fire departments in the county responded to multiple trees down, flooded vehicles, people trapped by flood waters, downed powerlines and power lines on fire. Department Hosts Blood Drive

Please come by our main station on Friday June 27th between 1pm and 5pm to support the American Red Cross and give the gift of life. According to the American Red Cross, every 2 seconds in the United States, someone needs blood or platelets. Approximately 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day. Structure Fire 24 June 2025

At 20:52 hours this evening, B-Shift was dispatched to a report of a commercial structure fire at 2707 NC Highway 86 South in Hillsborough. Engine 234 arrived on scene in less than four minutes and reported smoke and fire conditions from several storage units at the location.
