Annual Open House

The fire department annual open house will be Saturday June 13th from 9am to 5 pm. Bring the family out to Fire Station 1 in downtown Hillsborough to see the equipment, talk with some amazing fire and EMS folks and see what a day in the life of a professional firefighter looks like. Notice of Annual Meeting

The Orange Rural Fire Department will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday June 16th starting at 630pm in Fire Station 1.
Fire Station 1 is located at: 206 S. Churton Street Hillsborough, North Carolina.

Vehicle Fire | I 40 West at Mile Marker 260

At 23:10, Station 4 - C Shift responded to a working tractor-trailer fire on I-40 West at mile marker 260 involving a FedEx Ground trailer.
Units arrived to find heavy smoke and fire conditions on the trailer. Station 1 also responded and crews worked quickly to establish a water supply and knock down the fire, with mutual aid support from New Hope Fire Department. Multiple hose lines were deployed ... (Full Story & Photos)
