At 20:52 hours this evening, B-Shift was dispatched to a report of a commercial structure fire at 2707 NC Highway 86 South in Hillsborough. Engine 234 arrived on scene in less than four minutes and reported smoke and fire conditions from several storage units at the location. At 19:25 hours on June 5th, A-Shift was dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle collision with a vehicle versus a house on Summit Drive. Upon arrival, Engine 234 found a compact car had struck the corner of the garage and moved the corner of the building off of its foundation. On Saturday June 14th, we will hold our Annual Open House Event at the main fire station in downtown Hillsborough. Doors open at 9am and we plan to end the event at 5pm. This year's event will include displays by Hillsborough Police, Orange County EMS, Orange County Fire Marshal and of course your local fire department.
