Riddle Avenue Structure Fire 30 September

At 1823 hours this afternoon, A-Shift responded to a report of a structure fire on Riddle Avenue in Hillsborough. Within four minutes, the first unit was on scene and reported a working structure fire.
Engine 231's crew deployed attack lines and completed a primary search of the structure. Following an aggressive interior fire attack, the fire was quickly extinguished. Damage to the structure was limited to fire damage in the rear portions of the building and smoke damage throughout.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Orange County Fire Marshal.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the resident with shelter.
