| During the Orange County Board of Commissioners work session on October 10th, several long time serving firefighters from around the county were awarded the Order of the Guardian by Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey.
Among those receiving the awards were three of our own members.
David Ballard, Mac Cabe and Wallace Wilson were all recognized by the state for having more than 40 years of service to the visitors and citizens of the Central Orange Fire District and Town of Hillsborough.
We are fortunate to have long serving members to help guide us and support our department with their knowledge, ability and dedication.
Thank you to these and all of the men and women that make Orange Rural Fire Department a success! |
