At 12:56 hours this afternoon, C-Shift was dispatched to a report of a person struck by a train in the area of Eno Street. Fire, EMS, Hillsborough Police and Orange County Sherriff's Deputies responded to the area to attempt to locate the train and potential victim.
Responders walked the railroad tracks from West Hill Avenue westward until they located the train and the victim.
Due to the remote location, members from every agency worked together to get the victim out to a nearby driveway where vehicle access was possible.
North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.

Units: 231, 201, 204, 281, 212
