On 12/15/2020, B-Shift responded to a report of smoke and flames coming from the attic of a home on NC86 North near Holeman Drive. Upon arrival they found a smoldering fire in the attic of the home. While searching the attic for the source of the fire, they found several small fires that appeared to have been the result of broken wiring insulation. Through hard work and with the help of thermal imaging, the fire was quickly located and controlled. There was very minimal damage to the house. We'd like to thank Eno Fire and Rescue, New Hope Fire Rescue, Caldwell Fire Rescue and Orange County EMS for backing us up on the response. We'd especially like to thank New Hope for standing by our station until we cleared up some trucks.
