At 1115 hours this morning, B-Shift responded to a report of a structure fire on Cornelius Street. Upon arrival, crews found a singlewide mobile home with smoke and flames visible from the windows and roof. Engine 231 established a water supply from a nearby hydrant and deployed hose lines and firefighters into the structure to search for victims and extinguish the fire. An aggressive fire attack quickly extinguished the fire and no victims were found inside the structure. The Orange County Fire Marshall's Office was called in to determine the cause of the fire. We want to thank Efland Fire, Eno Fire, New Hope Fire, Orange County EMS and Fire Marshall's Office for assisting at the scene. We also want to thank Hillsborough Police for their help at the scene.
