Preferred Qualifications:

• North Carolina Firefighter Level 2 Certification
• EMT Certification (within 12 months of hire)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be in adequate physical condition for firefighting duties.
• Completion of the department’s agility test, written test and interview.
• Must have a clean criminal history and satisfactory driving record.
• Must pass a medical evaluation by a department preferred physician

Salary:           $38,002.41 - $44,457.44    Commensurate with qualifications
