The last homily of Father Mychal Judge was given on September 10, 2001 at the dedication of a firehouse . His words rang true on September 10, 2001 and they still ring true today.

That’s the way it is. Good days. And bad days. Up days. Down days. Sad days. Happy days. But never a boring day on this job. You do what God has called you to do. You show up. You put one foot in front of another. You get on the rig and you go out and you do the job – which is a mystery. And a surprise. You have no idea when you get on that rig. No matter how big the call. No matter how small. You have no idea what God is calling you to. But he needs you. He needs me. He needs all of us.

Tomorrow marks twenty one years since the attacks on New York, and the Pentagon. It also marks twenty one years ago that heroic passengers on Flight 93 stopped a fourth attempt of terrorists who were set to destroy, kill and harm citizens of the world.
On Sunday September 11th, we'll again stop to reflect on what happened 21 years ago. We don't reflect to create anger and division but instead to remember the fallen and to honor their sacrifices.
Thank you to the fallen for paying the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live.

"Let's roll" Todd Beamer, passenger on Flight 93. Mr. Beamer and all the passengers lost their lives when Flight 93 crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pa.

We will never forget those lost.
