By Orange Rural Fire Department
August 8, 2024

Several roads around the fire district have significant amounts of standing water. We're responding to trees down, roads blocked, trees on houses and power lines down. Since 3am, we've responded to 20 incidents.
IF you must go out, allow extra time for travel and drive slow. Increase awareness of your surroundings watch for low hanging wires and leaning or falling trees. Expect to find roads closed due to flooding.
If you find trees down, stay away from them until you can confirm that they are not in contact with power lines or other utilities that carry energy.

Stay safe and call us if you need us.
